Basic Maintenance

This training is for you if you would like to learn how to look after your bike and carry out simple maintenance.

The basic maintenance course is provided at the subsidised cost of £10

You will learn: About the parts of your bike and what they do.

What to check before you ride - How to adjust the saddle, handlebars, brakes and gears - How to mend punctures.

It's best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. E-Bikes are welcome at all bike maintenance courses. However, they are often more complex than a standard bike and the instructor might not be able to fully address every area of the maintenance.

Led by a bike maintenance expert, you'll be in a small group with other beginners in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It's a hands-on session which will give you the confidence and skills to keep your bike on the move. The sessions last two hours and are held across Greater Manchester.

For detailed information on terms and conditions, including regarding cancellations, moving courses and refunds go to: terms and conditions
