- Cycle Training Using Quiet Roads

- Cost: free
- Duration: two hours
- Type: small group
Course overview:
- · Making short road journeys safely
- · Cycling alongside traffic and other road users
- · Passing parked cars and crossing side roads
- · Riding with other people
- · Making turns at junctions
Course format:
- · Two qualified instructors will deliver the course.
- · The course will be held in a traffic-free outdoor space before moving onto quiet neighbourhood roads.
- · Bring your own bike and helmet if you’d like to wear one, or we can provide if needed.
- · This is a group course and there will be other participants also gaining confidence cycling on quiet roads. Minimum number of participants is usually six and maximum is 12.
- · For ages 12+ (participants aged 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times).
