- Intermediate Maintenance

This course is for you if you have a basic knowledge of bike maintenance, but want to extend your skills to take on more complex tasks and save money on repairs.
The intermediate maintenance course is provided at the subsidised cost of £30
You will learn how to: Adjust your brakes - Adjust and index gears - Inspect and replace cables - Check and maintain your chain - Carry out routine servicing.
It's best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. E-Bikes are welcome at all bike maintenance courses. However, they are often more complex than a standard bike and the instructor might not be able to fully address every area of the maintenance.
Led by a cycle maintenance expert, you'll be in a small group with others of similar experience in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It's an intensive hands-on session which will give you the confidence and skills to keep your bike in top condition. The session lasts six hours and are held across Greater Manchester.

This course is for you if you have a basic knowledge of bike maintenance, but want to be more confident at dealing with common mechanical problems that may arise whilst out on a ride.
The On the Move course is provided at the subsidised cost of £15
You will learn how to: Decide what to carry with you on a ride - Assess problems and decide on action to take - Make use of your surroundings to make things easier - Attempt "get you home" repairs for a range of usually resolvable issues.
It is best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. E-Bikes are welcome at all bike maintenance courses. However, they are often more complex than a standard bike and the instructor might not be able to fully address every area of the maintenance. You will need a roadworthy bike, a drink & snack and to dress for cycling and standing around outside according to the weather forecast
Led by a cycle maintenance expert, you'll be in a small group with others of similar experience in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It's an intensive hands-on session with time spent outdoors looking at scenarios that arise on a ride which will give you the confidence and skills to make the right decisions to get moving again.
The sessions last three hours and are held across Greater Manchester.

The intermediate maintenance course is provided at the subsidised cost of £30
You will learn how to: Adjust your brakes - Adjust and index gears - Inspect and replace cables - Check and maintain your chain - Carry out routine servicing.
It's best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. E-Bikes are welcome at all bike maintenance courses. However, they are often more complex than a standard bike and the instructor might not be able to fully address every area of the maintenance.
Led by a cycle maintenance expert, you'll be in a small group with others of similar experience in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It's an intensive hands-on session which will give you the confidence and skills to keep your bike in top condition. The session lasts six hours and are held across Greater Manchester.

This course is for you if you have a basic knowledge of bike maintenance, but want to be more confident at dealing with common mechanical problems that may arise whilst out on a ride.
The On the Move course is provided at the subsidised cost of £15
You will learn how to: Decide what to carry with you on a ride - Assess problems and decide on action to take - Make use of your surroundings to make things easier - Attempt "get you home" repairs for a range of usually resolvable issues.
It is best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. E-Bikes are welcome at all bike maintenance courses. You will learn how to: Adjust your brakes - Adjust and index gears - Inspect and replace cables - Check and maintain your chain - Carry out routine servicing.
It's best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. E-Bikes are welcome at all bike maintenance courses. However, they are often more complex than a standard bike and the instructor might not be able to fully address every area of the maintenance.
Led by a cycle maintenance expert, you'll be in a small group with others of similar experience in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It's an intensive hands-on session which will give you the confidence and skills to keep your bike in top condition. The session lasts six hours and are held across Greater Manchester.

Please note: children between the ages of 12-16 should be accompanied by an adult at all times. The adult should be present throughout the course that the child attends.
